Trenchless Sewer Rehabilitation
The rehabilitation of sewer systems using UV-cured liners is an innovative and modern solution that enables pipeline renovation without excavation, significantly reducing the impact on the environment, traffic, and surrounding infrastructure. UV technology ensures rapid and controlled curing of the liner, providing uniform and long-lasting structural reinforcement throughout the entire length of the pipeline. The process is carefully monitored and documented to guarantee the quality, reliability, and durability of the completed work.
For the installation of the liner inside pipelines, access is typically gained through existing manholes. Where manholes are not available, localized access points are created through temporary excavations or launch pits, strategically positioned near service connections or at critical points along the pipeline route.
Pipeline cleaning is carried out using a vacuum tanker truck equipped with a high-pressure water jetting system and a water recycling unit. The system uses standard or rotary nozzles mounted on a carriage specifically adapted to the pipeline diameter, which advances automatically through the pipe and efficiently removes all deposits, sediment buildup, and obstructions.
After cleaning, the pipeline undergoes a CCTV inspection to assess its condition. Any defects identified, such as cracks, fractures, or holes, are repaired either manually by qualified personnel or, where appropriate, using specialized robotic equipment.
The liner is inserted into the pipeline by means of a winch, which maintains a precisely controlled pulling force and installation speed. Once the liner is fully positioned, both ends are sealed using metal end caps (packers) inflated with compressed air. A chain equipped with UV lamps is then introduced into the liner to initiate the curing process, ensuring uniform hardening along its entire length.
The rehabilitated pipeline section then undergoes a final CCTV inspection, followed by cleaning, disinfection, and pressure testing in accordance with applicable industry standards. This process ensures the safe, reliable, and long-term operation of the pipeline.
Why We Choose This Technology for Our Projects?
Efficiency and Responsibility Towards the Community
